PC sound card based Oscilloscope
Friends , it is said that the multimeter is the eye and the oscilloscope is the ear of an electronic engineer. So to perform a good analysis both the multimeter and the oscilloscope are required . but for an hobbyist or a learner it is very expensive to get the oscilloscope.
so friends here i came across a good substitute of an oscilloscope and yet another use of the PC. The PC can be used as a tiny oscilloscope for the signal range from 20Hz to 20KHz.
The sound card of a PC can efficiently be used as an input transducer for the oscilloscope and the monitor as the display. Only one thing which we need to take is the driver and a GUI for the same.
The driver and the GUI combined can easily be downloaded from the link.
But friend make sure that the maximum input signal amplitude is restricted to 5V.
