Smart glasses
This time while traveling from Chennai to new Delhi b by air india I got the pleasure of having ride of dream liner.
The thing which I like the most in that was the window. Despite having the old shutter style, it was having the smart glass window.
In which the light coming from outside can be controlled by two controllers, one for making the window dark and one for making the window light maintaining the proper transparency.
I enjoyed the window operation very much and kept on thinking the principle.
Later after much brain storming I got to know that the glasses were electrochrome glasses, in which applying a d.c. Voltage ionioses the gas and makes the glass dark.
